Position: Web Designer/Developer

Job Description: MTS is seeking a talented Web Designer/Developer to join the company's Marketing and Content Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coding and production of final assets in support of QualityHealth.com and Nubella.com. Projects include client-sponsored e-marketing initiatives, subscription emails, ad banners, Flash media, and editorial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Code emails and other campaign-based creative assets, sponsor-branded sales initiatives, and registration pages
  • Learn the structure of QualityHealth.com as it relates to production processes
  • Design, produce, and organize various graphical assets
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure all deliverables follow best practices and standards
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience hand-coding HTML and CSS style sheets
  • At least 2 years' experience with other types of front-end development languages and techniques such as DHTML and javascript
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Should be organized and able to work independently with other project stake-holders, such as editors, sales personnel, and members of the technology group
  • Ability to hand-code clean HTML and CSS without relying on WYSIWYG editors, such as Dreamweaver
  • Working knowledge of Javascript
  • Extreme proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to learn quickly and take initiative to understand the business and its processe
  • Keen understanding of user behavior and Web-design best practices
